Contact and Fees

Fees:

My fees are consistent with the guidelines suggested by the College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO)
The services provided by a psychotherapist in private practice are not covered by provincial health insurance plans (OHIP). In most cases you will be billed directly.  You may have extended health benefits through your employer that covers all or a portion of the cost of psychotherapy services. The cost of psychotherapy services may be covered through an Employee Assistance Program. You may be able to deduct psychological services as a medical expense on your income taxes and deduct them as a business expense.

I accept payment by cheque, Interac transfer, or cash at the time of the session.

Insurance Coverage for Services

I am a Registered Provider with HCAI (Motor Vehicle Accident therapy), WSIB (workplace injuries) and Shepell fgi

Motor Vehicle Accident Therapy

If you were psychologically injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident, then your fees, if approved, will be covered and paid directly by your auto insurance carrier.

Workers Safety Insurance Board (WSIB)

If you were psychologically injured as a result of a workplace injury then, if approved, your fees will be covered and paid directly by the Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB)

Short and Long Term Disability

If you are unable to perform your work duties due to a psychological condition, and are eligible for short or long term disability, then your disability insurance provider may cover your therapy sessions. Many insurance providers will expect the client to pay for the therapy sessions up front, and be reimbursed after a receipt for service is submitted

In the event that you find it necessary to cancel a session, please inform me as soon as possible. Please note that I have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
I appreciate your understanding in this matter.
